Since 1992, ProjectMEND has been dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities and illnesses through refurbishment, reuse and distribution of affordable medical equipment and other assistive technologies. To fully realize their mission and serve the diverse needs of San Antonio and the region, ProjectMEND collaborated with Overland to design their new Headquarters and Fulfillment Facility, consolidating their warehouse, refurbishment center and offices under one roof. Importantly, client accessibility and convenience have dramatically improved through a single service point and improved public transportation with the VIA bus stop in front of the building and close proximity to the Medical Center.
ProjectMEND’s new headquarters stand as the largest medical equipment reuse facility in the United States, offering 15,103 square feet of space, with room for potential expansion and symbolizing their commitment to welcoming clients with the hope of greater independence and autonomy.
