Sidney Ryden, Assoc. AIA, WELL AP

At the core of Sidney’s interest in architecture is the idea of community creation and storytelling through private development. A dreamy month studying abroad in Europe left an impression on her as to how space can be so novel and intricate while also feeling like home. As a member of the Urban Land Institute and a participant in the ULI Mentorship Program, Sidney has begun to connect with members who play a role in every part of the building process.

Outside of architectural design, Sidney enjoys other creative outlets – ask her about her recent endeavors in ceramics, sewing, dancing, and motion design & filmmaking! In addition to creating these tangible things, she also loves thinking through ideas, which is where some of her other passions like theology and austrian economics come in to play.

Overland quickly became home for Sidney, surrounded by incredible designers and thinkers. Some of her favorite memories with her coworkers over the past few months include weekly happy hours, The Overland Christmas Party, and a Colorado ski trip where she got engaged to her now husband (another Overland Pheasant!).
