We’re excited to announce the next phase of our collaboration with The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) on the San Pedro II project, which has just received approval and funding to move from design to construction. Building on San Pedro I’s recent LEED Gold achievement, this new facility aims to be a cornerstone of sustainability and experiential higher education in downtown San Antonio.
Designed by our Overland | Gensler team and constructed by Turner Construction Company, San Pedro II not only continues UTSA’s commitment to sustainability but also serves as a transformational space in the heart of the city. With a focus on emerging fields like Data Science and Cyber Security, this project enhances the synergies between students, faculty, and the community, further solidifying UTSA’s role in educational and urban development.
