House Zero Austin, Texas | 3,160 SF

House Zero inspires visitors and passersby with a compelling vision of the future of housing construction, and with it, the future of living.
From the street, viewers are struck by the strength, grace, and facile nature of the 3D printed concrete as they see it featured in a myriad of pragmatic and beautiful ways: straight, curving, leaning, gardened, and patterned walls, faceted columns, inviting stairways, and even water features. A densely vegetated landscape cascades from atop the printed walls down over the canopy and stepped garden walls. A welcoming entry court invites friends to either unit, and becomes host to many social events. The house is a remarkable step beyond conventional housing. It joins together groundbreaking technologies and innovative design thinking to derive a product unlike any other. This is the house of the future.
