The Monarch San Antonio – A Curio Collection by Hilton Hotel San Antonio, Texas | 200 Rooms

In collaboration with the Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation (HPARC), the 200-room Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, owned and operated by Zachry Hospitality, will be situated on roughly 1.5 acres near the northwest end of South Alamo and Market Streets, steps from downtown San Antonio’s key cultural assets, including La Villita, The Alamo and the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

The terraced base of the seventeen-story hotel will feature ground floor retail activation, multiple upscale restaurants and food and beverage options, an exciting rooftop bar, and a garden with public art – all accessible to the public from the park at ground level. Sustainable design elements can be found in the native stone, lush vegetation and water features integrated throughout the design, reflecting the natural elements created by the Balcones Escarpment that runs through the region.

The curved tower is oriented to provide guests with panoramic views of the park to the east and city views to the west and north, overlooking the River Walk and the distinctive public art piece Torch of Friendship at the juncture of Commerce, Market, and South Alamo Streets

Construction of the 200-room hotel is expected to begin in fall 2022, with the goal of opening its doors to welcome guests in 2025 for the NCAA Men’s Final Four.
