Katie Miles, NCIDQ, RID, WELL AP

From an early age, Katie’s extensive travels around the globe exposed her to many different cultures and have shaped the unique perspective she brings to her work. She believes in a human-centric approach that puts a strong emphasis on research-based design to truly understand how people engage with their surrounding environments. This approach has been critical in developing some of the most unique and unforgettable experiences in sports and entertainment venues over the last decade. “I see myself less as an interior designer, and more a designer of experience.” Every single step she takes along the journey of a project is intentionally made to curate experiences that are original and engaging.

Her previous project experience includes NFL stadiums, Esports arenas, Collegiate facilities, and Digital venues. She also has a broad set of skills, participating in services like research-based occupancy reviews, ROI studies, programming, design services, construction document coordination and production, and construction administration. She believes being integrated into every chapter of a project is key to the overall success of the venture.

Katie is an Aussie through-and-through, despite being born in Cheltnam, England to Aussie parents. Just six months into her life, she started globetrotting, living in places like China, Singapore, France, & Ireland just to name a few. Now, an honorary American, she loves spending her spare time creating memories with her pals which mostly includes good food, a tasty cocktail, and some good laughs.
