Hutch, as he is known to friends and clients around the world, has a 46-year history that includes managing some of the largest and most complex projects ever built. In addition to helping deliver Miller Park, the American Airlines Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, US Bank Stadium, and Globe Life Field, he has recently expanded into opportunity development and senior project management for international projects such as a new major league ballpark for Kitahiroshima Japan, and new arenas in Kobe and Tokyo. Four of his past projects – Miller Park, Lucas Oil Stadium, Globe Life Field, and the Kitahiroshima Ballpark include large, retractable roofs.

In addition to his sports work, he also helped deliver significant expansions to the Dallas Convention Center, which boasts the largest column-free exhibit hall in the United States when it opened. He has returned to what is now the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center for numerous additional projects over the following years.

Hutch is famous for not only being an amazing storyteller, but also for having personally experienced most of these stories. He has recently completed his favorite project of them all – a custom home on the shore of an East Texas lake. Here he entertains friends and three generations of family. He is known to pour enough Old Fashioned cocktails that he now has to buy his cherries in bulk.
