Since his younger days of disassembling the household appliances when his parents weren’t watching, Dan has been interested in how individual pieces go together to form a collective whole. That curiosity has evolved into an architectural desire to create places that are greater than the sum of their parts. With over a decade of experience in some of the largest stadia in the world, Dan is most interested in how people interact with and circulate through concourses and clubs, and how even the smallest details in those spaces can be connected back to the bigger picture of the stadium at large. And with his extensive BIM knowledge and legendary coffee consumption, Dan has also successfully designed, managed, coordinated, and produced some of the most complex projects in Revit to date.

Dan was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England and moved to the US when he was nine. He attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate studies, and The University of Texas at Arlington for his master’s degree. Some of his previous projects include Amon G. Carter Stadium at Texas Christian University, Apogee Stadium at the University of North Texas, US Bank Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings, and SoFi Stadium for the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, as well as countless competitions across the world. Always up for an adventure to find good coffee, good beer, good music, or a good laugh, Dan firmly believes that if you’re not having fun doing what you’re doing, then you must be doing something wrong.
