As a skilled architect and project manager, Charles finds deep satisfaction in — and naturally gravitates toward — activities that require teamwork and collaboration. Performing his work with precision and care, Charles is driven to deliver on all commitments and “do things right.”
A native Texan, Charles attended Texas A&M University before attending UTSA for his Master of Architecture. Charles graduated at the top of his class earning the AIA Henry Adams Medal and was awarded the Best Thesis Project Award.
Charles has gained experience across a variety of project types from small-scale religious projects such as the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit to large-scale projects such as the University of Texas at Austin’s College of Liberal Arts. His experience in steel fabrication has helped him to lead the development of Overland WorkShop, an effort to expand Overland’s hands-on, practical knowledge of construction.
In his spare time, Charles is an amateur foodie, and enjoys cycling and playing with his dog.
