Bryan Trubey is known for designing some of the world’s most memorable, recognizable, and critically acclaimed sports and entertainment facilities. He launched his sports career 30 years ago as the lead designer for the National Stadium* in Hong Kong, and since has elevated the power of what sports facilities can be – from fan experience to revenue to enhancing player performance. He most recently completed the celebrated SoFi Stadium** in Los Angeles.
This is all due to a powerful design methodology that looks to the unique culture and context of a project for inspiration. “When I begin a project, it is hard to get my mind to settle down. There are so many ideas – I just see things differently. Eventually ideas emerge that move in a direction combining all the influences that are unique to each project. The client, the place, climate, geography, culture, history, and people…people are everything. The forms we create are all focused on heightening the experience that every individual has in our work. Bryan’s projects and contributions to the sports and entertainment industries have garnered national and international media attention including NBC, CBS, ABC, ESPN, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Forbes, and Wired. In 2016, Bryan was named to the 50 Most Influential by Sports Business Journal.
