Overland Thirty Years Anniversary Timeline

Here’s to the Next 30 Years!

Our practice has never been just about buildings. We are here because of people like you.

At Overland, we believe that all things have embedded potential waiting to be discovered. This is as true of our work as it is our people. We have spent our entire career building a community that people want to be a part of, where their wisdom takes center stage, to create physical transformations that lead to human ones. We’ve become more of who we are over these three decades because of everyone who has ever worked in our office, everyone we have ever worked with, and everyone we have ever worked for. These relationships are paramount and endure beyond our work, extending through the years and across the globe.

This anniversary celebration is an opportunity to share the stories of many foundational relationships with our clients, the talented “pheasants” (Overland staff) over the years, project consultants, and our friends and families who have formed this community we are grateful to be a part of.

The Timeline

Found displayed across the glass walls of our office courtyard, the graphic timeline presents a broad chronological view of Overland’s project work, with a few milestone events that have charted the direction of the firm over the past thirty years. We welcome visitors to journey through the stories behind these relationships and projects showcased in a digital interactive mobile tour.

A large graphic installation represents our current and future vision of a commitment to architecture that impacts the human experience and is designed in sustainable ways. It expresses the thirty-year evolution of our design practice, as we continue in our mission to unlock the embedded potential of both our projects and ourselves.
