The Ferguson Gallery of Decorative Art is an exhibit space in the existing San Antonio Museum of Art, located in a renovated turn-of-the-century brewery. The museum includes spaces which were underutilized but accessible. This Gallery was created by removing an existing floor to capture head height. Mechanical and lighting systems are sensitively woven into the historic structure and art objects are carefully placed to respect the integrity of the space, providing an entirely new visitor experience.
