Steve Fong

Steve manages CAD/BIM at Overland and has been using AutoCAD since 1984 when he realized that his hand-lettering skills were endangering his architecture career.  Since that time he has been CAD manager at a civil engineering firm, an MEP firm, and multiple architecture firms. He won the Top Daug AutoCAD competition at Autodesk University in 2010.

Steve has been instrumental in the Overland transition from AutoCAD to Revit in 2006. He developed the CAD and BIM standards and has led many training classes at Overland. Despite being a long-time AutoCAD expert, he believes that the future of architecture is Building Information Modeling (BIM/Revit) because of the tremendous amount of information embedded in the building model. Steve is a certified Pro in both AutoCAD and Revit.

Steve’s wife is a physician and they have two sons.
