Adam Bush, AIA, LFA, LEED AP BD+C

Adam Bush, AIA, is President of Overland and leads the enterprise’s design practice across San Antonio, Dallas, Denver, Salt Lake City and New York with a focus on future growth. Adam recently celebrated 16 years with the firm, serving as Principal and Director of Overland’s Education practice.  His commitment to excellence and servant leadership have been influential across many of Overland’s large and most complex projects, including Patton Hall at the University of Texas at Austin; the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business & Innovation at Baylor University; transformation of the new Austin Community College Rio Grande Campus; the new University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) School of Data Science as well as UTSA’s Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Careers School currently underway in downtown San Antonio. He empowers works closely with clients, construction partners, consultants and design teams to deliver highly sustainable, transformational projects of positive impact.

Adam’s attention to detail and collaborative approach facilitates well-integrated design solutions. Additionally, his thorough knowledge of building systems and technology add value to projects by uncovering efficient and sustainable design synergies. He has played a lead sustainability role in several of Overland’s LEED Gold and LEED Platinum projects.

Outside the studio, Adam has served as a Board member of AIA San Antonio and has chaired the Chapter’s Design Awards Committee. When not taking in local urban culture, he can be found outdoors exploring mountainous environments on foot, by bike, and on four-wheels. An avid foodie, Adam appreciates the community created while gathering around the dining table. He is also known for playing a fierce game of ping-pong.
